Our Story.

Liskeard Self Storage is owned and run by myself, Darren, and my wife, Sarah. It's an offshoot of our original business, Atlantic Caravans, which we started back in 2010.

In 2022, we purchased a plot of land and carried out some redevelopment to maximise the usable space. It soon became clear that we didn’t need all of it to run the caravan side of the business.

That’s when I had the idea to get a storage container—primarily just to store my motorbike. After that, I got another container and listed it on Marketplace. It rented out within 10 minutes.

Curious to see where container storage might take us, I kept the advert running. That was in November 2024. Fast forward to today, we now have 34 containers rented out, with capacity for up to 80.

We’ll continue to expand and add more containers as demand grows.
